SCHOOL OF THE GUARDIAN ANGEL
Overcrowding in public schools often results in more than a hundred children in a single class. This naturally leads to a decrease in the level of education due to the lack of individualized teaching paths. The school of St. Guardian Angel is a private institution, which allows independence, and at the same time, is attended by fewer students, which helps conducting classes at a high level.
Since the school of St. Guardian Angel enjoys great interest, we have plans for the future to build additional facilities – a building with two rooms for preschoolers and three classrooms for the school.
QUALITY MATTERS
Our school consists of school and preschool departments – a kind of "2in1". Its goal is the holistic education of the child – in the Catholic faith, with a good level of education – according to the official curriculum. Classes take place from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, during breaks the students receive lunch.
Children have the opportunity to learn the tribal language IciBemba, as well as other subjects taught in English: Mathematics, Social Studies, Creativity, Technology, Integrity. There are also Art and Physical Education. We run additional remedial classes in English and Mathematics.
Every day starts and ends with prayer, we teach children catechism and tell them biblical stories. Currently, there are seventy children attending the school-preschool, divided into four groups: baby class, reception class, first class, and second class. With the passing years, we will have third, fourth grades…

PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
We employ four teachers and three support staff who assist especially the youngest ones. Older preschoolers and younger school children, apart from the teachers who are two missionary nuns, also have an assistant who helps conduct classes, accompanies them during meals, or facilitates using the toilet.
From the collected tuition fees, we try to cover the salaries of the staff, while the classrooms are equipped with funds from donations. The monthly cost of maintaining one child, whose parents cannot afford to pay tuition, is 50 PLN. This amount covers the fees for education, meals, and the uniform.
Thanks to the support program we run, it is available not only for children from wealthy families but also those from poorer backgrounds. Through funding mainly coming from Poland, we enable the provision of basic education primarily for children from Catholic families, but not only
